Waterpolo overtime thriller sees the Stingers playing for Bronze
When Centre forward Ash Southern converted a penalty with just one second left to equalise and send the match into overtime, the Stingers were heading for an upset over their USA rivals. However extra time saw USA star Maggie Seffens score a vital goal and setup another to send the Stingers to the Bronze playoff.
The Autralian Stingers will face Hungary in the Olympic Park pool Friday morning August 10 at 3:40am AEST playing for Bronze. Watch them finish off a successful Olympics live on Foxtel London 2.

A schedule clash between the 800m and 1500m races has seen Jeff Riseley choose between the two. Until recently he has been leaning towards the 1500m. The decider was a new personal best of one minute 44.48 seconds in July, just shy of the national record. This move sees the six foot three runner racing in Heat 2 of the 800m qualifiers Monday August 6 from 7:30pm AEST where he will need to outpace the likes of 2011 World Title holder David Lekuta Rudisha.
